1982 Banyuls – Cave de l'étoile

This old 1982 Banyuls vintage from Cave de l'étoile, produced from the best crus of the Catalan terroir, has aged in old oak barrels.

This old 1982 Banyuls vintage is offered in 75 cl bottles.

With unique expertise in aging Banyuls, its range is incredibly rich. The vineyard is located in the extreme south of France, where the Pyrenees meet the Mediterranean. It is delimited by the 4 ports of Collioure, Port-Vendres, Banyuls-sur-Mer, and Cerbère. Its surface area is 1800 hectares. It is between the sea and the mountains that the vines cling to the steep slopes on a schist soil. They are exclusively worked by hand. Cap Vintage certifies the conformity, origin, and quality of this vintage Banyuls.

THE CAVE DE L’ÉTOILE BANYULS

It is in the heart of the town of Banyuls-sur-Mer, 200 meters from the beach, that the treasures of La Cave de l'Étoile rest.

Behind this renowned establishment lies a whole history, marked by a key date, the year 1921, which saw the birth of the 1st Banyuls cooperative cellar, thanks to the action of 11 winegrowers who decided to group their production to facilitate the marketing of their wines, with the desire for direct distribution to individuals.
