Bielle Rum

Marie Galante, the island of 100 windmills, has always been the island of sugarcane. It was at the end of the 19th century that the BIELLE Distillery was founded. It has evolved over time with its successive owners. Sugar production, which became obsolete in the small "sucrottes" (sugar factories), gave way to agricultural rum distilleries. The Bielle Distillery perpetuates an old tradition of making agricultural rum from pure cane juice.
