    1. The color of this 1986 Armagnac is vibrant and clear.
    1. The nose is elegant, dominated by aromas of undergrowth, humus, and ferns.
    1. The palate is frank, supple, and smooth.

Armagnac 1986 - Domaine de Charron, CASK STRENGTH: 45.70 Degrees Alc.

The Domaine de Charron vineyards thrive on the tawny sands of Bas Armagnac. Born from the meeting of land and sea, which receded only at the end of the Tertiary period, these sandy, clay-siliceous soils, colored by iron oxides, form the personality and pride of Bas Armagnac. This 1986 vintage Armagnac is offered in two types of bottles:

    • Armagnac Charron OSLO Bottle of 70 cl.

The oak pieces (casks of about 420 liters) come from one of the last artisanal coopers in the region, Gilles Bartholomo in Frêche (Landes). All of our brandy is placed in new barrels as soon as it emerges from the still. Then, in our earthen cellar, a long process of exchange and diffusion of aromatic compounds between the oak and the brandy begins. Over the years, each vintage is stirred, aerated, and moved under the orchestration of the cellar master. The age and alcohol content of this precious elixir will only be set according to orders at the time of bottling in the cellar, after a minimum of 10 years of aging. Cap Vintage certifies the conformity, origin, and quality of this Armagnac Domaine de Charron.
