Armagnac 1907 – Historic Spirits

An exceptional selection of spirits and fortified wines from the 1907 vintage — Armagnac, Banyuls, Maury, and Rivesaltes born in Belle Époque France, seven years before the Great War.

1907 Armagnac: born in the year of Les Demoiselles d'Avignon

1907 - Picasso paints Les Demoiselles d'Avignon and invents Cubism; the world vibrates with unprecedented creative energy. The Belle Epoque is at its peak; Europe does not yet imagine the catastrophe that is looming. In Gascony, winemakers distill with serenity, giving birth to brandies that will span two world wars and more than a century of history. After 119 years of aging in Gascon oak barrels, the 1907 Armagnacs are artifacts of a bygone era: rancio of mythical depth, incense, sacred resin, spices from another time. Living witnesses of the Gascon Belle Epoque.

Our 1907 selection

Each bottle is shipped in exceptional presentation packaging, with a certificate of authenticity and personalized tracking.

Why is 1907 Armagnac so rare?

In 1907, Armagnac production was entirely artisanal, and the volumes distilled were far lower than those of the 20th century. After 119 years of natural evaporation (the angel's share), only a tiny fraction of the initial volume remains. These bottles are literally irreplaceable.

What is the price of a 1907 Armagnac?

These bottles are available upon request. Prices generally exceed 3,000 to 6,000 euros depending on the producer. Contact us for current pricing.

Is a 1907 spirit still drinkable?

Yes - stored in barrels under optimal conditions and then bottled by the great Gascon houses, these spirits are perfectly preserved after 119 years.
