This old 1943 vintage Armagnac from Veuve Lafontan & ses Enfants, made from the best crus of the Gascon terroir, has aged in old oak barrels. This old 1943 vintage Armagnac is offered in a Cognac-style bottle and its wooden Arche box.

The first merchant-breeder was Léonce LAFONTAN (1865-1939), originally a horse merchant, who, in addition to being a winegrower, became a Merchant-Breeder in 1897 by founding the LAFONTAN House. His primary activity, and his knowledge of the region, allowed him to make a meticulous selection for the purchase of old Armagnacs from the best crus. Thus, the LAFONTAN House was one of the pioneers in the sale of bottled Armagnac. It was in 1904 that he created the "VEUVE LAFONTAN & ses Enfants" range in homage to his deceased mother.

Preserved in old oak barrels, this 1943 Bas-Armagnac has been subjected to the work of time to acquire the nobility of the greatest nectars. It is during a long aging process that it has acquired the fullness of its aromas.
