Bas-Armagnac 1952 – Veuve Lafontan & ses Enfants

This old vintage 1952 Armagnac from Veuve Lafontan & ses Enfants, made from the best crus of the Gascon terroir, has aged in old oak barrels. This old vintage 1952 Armagnac is presented in a Cognac bottle and its wooden arch box.

The first merchant-breeder was Léonce LAFONTAN (1865-1939), originally a horse merchant, who, in addition to being a winemaker, became a Merchant-Breeder in 1897 by founding the LAFONTAN House. His primary activity, and knowledge of the region, allowed him to make a meticulous choice for the purchase of old Armagnacs from the best crus. This is how the LAFONTAN House was one of the pioneers in selling bottled Armagnac. It was in 1904 that he created the "VEUVE LAFONTAN & ses Enfants" range in homage to his deceased mother.

Stored in old oak barrels, this Bas-Armagnac 1952 has been subjected to the work of time to acquire the nobility of the greatest nectars. It is during a long aging process that it has acquired the fullness of its aromas.

The Cap Vintage team certifies the conformity, origin, and quality of this Armagnac. Discover the emotion of tasting a vintage from Armagnac, Cognac, Banyuls, Maury, and Rivesaltes products on our online sales site. Enjoy your discovery and tasting with CAP Vintage.
