1. This Banyuls 1973, an old vintage from the Cave de L'étoile collection, has retained a brilliant and clear robe and a deep color with ruby reflections.

1. Its nose is still powerful, presenting aromas of spicy butter and dried fruits.

1. Its mouthfeel has a direct and balanced attack. The tannins are still rich and very present. Subtle, elegant, aromatic, it expresses a beautiful freshness for its age, as well as a beautiful length.

With unique expertise in aging Banyuls, its range is very rich.
The vineyard is located at the extreme south of France, where the Pyrenees meet the Mediterranean. It is delimited by the 4 ports of Collioure, Port-Vendres, Banyuls-sur-Mer, and Cerbère. Its area is 1800 hectares. It is between sea and mountain that the vines cling to the steep slopes on schist soil. They are exclusively worked by hand.
