Sempé Armagnacs
The SEMPÉ house is one of the best-known Armagnac trading houses. It was founded in 1934 by Abel SEMPÉ, a tireless Gascon serving his country and his region. He was successively a recognized resistance fighter within the Armagnac battalion and then Senator of Gers for many years. Throughout his life, he remained devoted to the SEMPÉ brand. He developed it internationally from the 1950s with superb, ever more innovative presentations. Since his passing, SEMPÉ remains in his image. A dynamic, innovative brand that is still accessible to the greatest number while respecting the ancestral know-how that Armagnac embodies.
Today, SEMPÉ is part of a Gascon wine group that perpetuates and strengthens Abel's brand.
