Bas-Armagnac 1982 – Veuve Lafontan & ses Enfants
This old vintage Armagnac 1982 Veuve Lafontan & ses Enfants, originating from the best crus of the Gascon terroir, has aged in old oak barrels. This old vintage Armagnac 1982 is offered in a Cognac-style bottle and its wooden Arche box.The first merchant-breeder was Léonce LAFONTAN (1865-1939), originally a horse merchant, who, in addition to being a winemaker, became a merchant-breeder in 1897 by founding Maison LAFONTAN. His primary activity, and knowledge of the region, allowed him to make a careful selection for the purchase of old Armagnacs from the best crus. Thus, Maison LAFONTAN was one of the pioneers in the sale of bottled Armagnac. It was in 1904 that he created the "VEUVE LAFONTAN & ses Enfants" range in homage to his deceased mother.
Stored in old oak barrels, this Bas-armagnac 1982 has been subjected to the work of time to acquire the nobility of the greatest nectars. It is during a long aging process that it has acquired the fullness of its aromas.
