Sempé Armagnacs
The SEMPÉ house is one of the best-known Armagnac trading houses. It was founded in 1934 by Abel SEMPÉ, a tireless Gascon dedicated to his country and region. He was successively a recognized resistance fighter within the Armagnac battalion and then Senator of Gers for many years. Throughout his life, he remained devoted to the SEMPÉ brand. He developed it worldwide starting in the 1950s with superb and ever more innovative presentations. Since his passing, SEMPÉ has remained true to his image. A dynamic, innovative, and always accessible brand for the greatest number while respecting the ancestral savoir-faire embodied by Armagnac.
Today, SEMPÉ is part of a Gascon wine group that perpetuates and strengthens Abel's brand.
