A lover of his South-West and its ancient tradition, this cult chef of Landes gastronomy initiated his son Francis into the culinary arts, great wines, and fine Gascon brandies. It was by cultivating this taste for tradition and authenticity that Francis Darroze, by exploring with his father, an experienced and demanding oenophile, this famous terroir of Bas-Armagnac and by tasting hidden treasures in the depths of small estates, became a true scout of owner Armagnacs.
The first discoveries date back to the 1950s & 60s, then intensified from the 1970s with the construction of a cellar specifically dedicated to aging.
