Bas-Armagnac 1990 – Veuve Lafontan & ses Enfants

This old 1990 vintage Armagnac, Veuve Lafontan & ses Enfants, comes from the best crus of the Gascon terroir and has aged in old oak barrels. This old 1990 vintage Armagnac is offered in a Cognac bottle and its wooden "Arche" case.

The first merchant-breeder was Léonce LAFONTAN (1865-1939), originally a horse merchant, who, in addition to being a winegrower, became a Merchant-Breeder in 1897 by founding the LAFONTAN House. His primary activity, and knowledge of the region, allowed him to make a meticulous choice for the purchase of old Armagnacs from the best crus. This is how Maison LAFONTAN was one of the pioneers of bottled Armagnac sales. It was in 1904 that he created the "VEUVE LAFONTAN & ses Enfants" range in homage to his deceased mother.

Stored in old oak barrels, this 1990 Bas-Armagnac has been subjected to the work of time to acquire the nobility of the greatest nectars. It was during a long aging process that it acquired the fullness of its aromas.
