A lover of his South-West and its age-old tradition, this cult chef of Landes gastronomy initiated his son Francis to the culinary arts, to great wines, to fine Gascon brandies. It is by cultivating this taste for tradition, for authenticity, that Francis Darroze, traveling with his father, a discerning and demanding oenophile, through this famous terroir of Bas-Armagnac and tasting treasures hidden in the depths of small estates, became a true scout of owner Armagnacs.
The first discoveries date back to the 1950s and 60s, then intensified from the 1970s with the construction of a cellar specifically dedicated to aging.
