Armagnac Darroze 2005

This old vintage Armagnac Darroze 2005, made from the best crus, has aged in old oak barrels. The nose is light, fine and pleasant.

For over 20 years, Marc Darroze has dedicated a lot of energy and passion to Armagnac. Through contact with winegrowers, distillers, coopers and Gascon breeders, Marc Darroze has been able to grasp all the diversity and nobility of our profession.

In the family home, the aging of his Armagnacs has become more precise, refined, and his expertise is now complete.

This vintage Armagnac Darroze 2005 is offered in a 70 cl bottle in a cardboard box.

A lover of his South-West and its ancient tradition, this cult chef of Landes gastronomy initiated his son Francis to the culinary arts, to great wines, to fine Gascon brandies. It is by cultivating this taste for tradition, for authenticity, that Francis Darroze, by traveling with his father, an experienced and demanding oenophile, this famous terroir of Bas-Armagnac and by tasting treasures hidden deep in small estates, became a true discoverer of Armagnacs from independent producers.

The first discoveries date from the 1950s & 60s, then intensified from the 1970s with the construction of a cellar specifically dedicated to aging.

His son Marc Darroze, an oenologist by training, followed in his footsteps in 1996. Both complementary, both "treasure hunters", as Martine Nouet called them in her book "Eaux-de-vie: le guide", they have traveled the lands of Armagnac all these years in search of this liquid gold that they offer you.

Treasure hunters first of all out of taste, but also to satisfy a loyal clientele looking for quality brandies, they were together discoverers of Armagnacs. Today, Marc Darroze alone oversees the company, Francis Darroze having taken a well-deserved active retirement. He continues the work of guardian, sometimes of initiated antique dealer by his father to make these treasures accessible to us.

CAP Vintage is proud to offer you this excellent Armagnac Darroze range and to accompany you in this discovery through this range and around Armagnac. Cap Vintage certifies the conformity, origin, and quality of this vintage Armagnac.
