Blanche Armagnac Darroze 100% BACO 49° alc. 70 cl.
TASTING NOTES
Often considered the preferred aging grape variety, here we find raw Baco Armagnac, without any artifice, identical to how it came out of the still.
In this intense nose, we perceive both fruity (mirabelle plum, white peach and fresh grape) and herbaceous (fennel, mint) aromas. A very pleasant, almost crisp nose.
On the palate, this Blanche is supple, with a very dry profile. The intensity is pronounced with a voluminous mouthfeel. Spicy notes of chili and pepper prolong the pleasure.
Certainly ideal for Margarita or Mojito cocktails in combination with vegetal aromatic profiles.

AUTHENTICITY
Three emblematic Armagnac grape varieties are used to showcase the authentic cultural heritage of the Gascony eau-de-vie.
Similarly, the traditional continuous distillation so particular to Armagnac has also been favored.
RESPECT
After being stored for several months away from wood, in order to preserve and enhance its character, each eau-de-vie complies with the specific specifications of the "Blanche Armagnac" Controlled Appellation of Origin. During this aging period, a slight reduction is performed to bring the alcohol content to around 49%.
PLEASURE
These three cuvées were designed to provide surprise and pleasure and allow everyone to imagine their own particular combination.
In the family home, the aging of its Armagnacs has become more precise, refined, and its expertise is now complete.
This 60-year-old Darroze Armagnac is offered in a 70 cl bottle.
A lover of his South-West and its ancient tradition, this cult chef of Landes gastronomy initiated his son Francis to the culinary arts, to great wines, to fine Gascony eaux-de-vie. It is by cultivating this taste for tradition, for authenticity, that Francis Darroze, while touring this famous Bas-Armagnac terroir with his father, an experienced and demanding oenophile, and tasting treasures hidden in the depths of small estates, became a true scout for proprietor Armagnacs.
The first discoveries date back to the 1950s & 60s, then intensified from the 1970s with the construction of a cellar specifically dedicated to aging.
His son Marc, a trained oenologist, followed in his footsteps in 1996. Both complementary, both "treasure hunters", as Martine Nouet called them in her book "Eaux-de-vie: le guide", have traveled the lands of Armagnac all these years in search of this liquid gold that they offer you.
Treasure hunters first out of taste, but also to satisfy a loyal clientele looking for quality eaux-de-vie, they were together discoverers of Armagnacs. Today, Marc Darroze alone oversees the company, Francis Darroze having taken a well-deserved active retirement. He continues the work of guardian, sometimes of an initiated antiquarian by his father, to make these treasures accessible to us.
