Armagnac 2007 Clés des Ducs
It acquired the fullness of its aromas during a long aging process in oak barrels. Cap Vintage certifies the conformity, origin, and quality of this Armagnac.Clés des Ducs Armagnacs
It is in the small Gers village of Panjas, in the heart of the Gers, that the cellars of the Clés des Ducs house are located, where cellar master Jérôme Zadro has just succeeded Philippe Lézama. The latter, having held the position for 35 years, has skillfully passed on his expertise.
"Over the years, we have managed to preserve the specificity of Clés des Ducs Armagnac."
These specificities and peculiarities found within the Clés des Ducs house are multiple:
- The vast majority of Clés des Ducs Armagnacs are made from Ugni Blanc grapes.
- The specificity begins with distillation, where the Clés des Ducs cellar master uses medium to low barrel heating. To differentiate ourselves, Clés des Ducs has chosen to lightly wood our armagnacs by limiting aging in new oak barrels to 3 or 4 months to limit the woody taste.
- The brand prefers the fruitiness of the brandies over the aromas born from aging.
