Indeed, rare are the brandies that continue to express their character after so many years. This blend is the result of a long and delicate selection that allowed us to keep only Armagnacs that have stood the test of time without showing a single wrinkle.

For over 20 years, Marc Darroze has dedicated a lot of energy and passion to Armagnac. Through contact with winegrowers, distillers, coopers and Gascon breeders, Marc Darroze has been able to grasp the full diversity and nobility of our profession.
In the family home, the aging of his Armagnacs has become more precise, refined, and his expertise is now complete.

A lover of his South-West and its ancient tradition, this cult chef of Landes gastronomy initiated his son Francis to the culinary arts, to great wines, to fine Gascon brandies. It is by cultivating this taste for tradition, for authenticity, that Francis Darroze, by traveling with his father, a knowledgeable and demanding oenophile, this famous terroir of Bas-Armagnac and tasting treasures hidden deep within small estates, became a true discoverer of Armagnacs from private producers.
The first discoveries date back to the 1950s & 60s, then intensified from the 1970s with the construction of a cellar specifically dedicated to aging.
His son Marc, an oenologist by training, followed in his footsteps in 1996. Both complementary, both "treasure hunters," as Martine Nouet called them in her book "Eaux-de-vie: le guide," they have traveled the lands of Armagnac for all these years in search of this liquid gold that they offer you.
Treasure hunters first out of taste, but also to satisfy a loyal clientele looking for quality brandies, they were together discoverers of Armagnacs. Today, Marc Darroze alone oversees the company, Francis Darroze having taken a well-deserved active retirement. He continues the work of guardian, sometimes of initiated antique dealer by his father to make these treasures accessible to us.
