A lover of his South-West and its ancient tradition, this cult chef of Landes gastronomy initiated his son Francis into the culinary arts, great wines, and fine Gascon eaux-de-vie. By cultivating this taste for tradition and authenticity, Francis Darroze, exploring with his father, an informed and demanding oenophile, this famous terroir of Bas-Armagnac and tasting hidden treasures in the depths of small estates, became a true discoverer of propriétaire Armagnacs.
The first discoveries date back to the 1950s & 60s, then intensified from the 1970s with the construction of a cellar specifically dedicated to aging.
