LA CAVE DE L’ÉTOILE BANYULS
In the very center of the town of Banyuls-sur-Mer, 200 meters from the beach, lie the treasures of La cave de l’Étoile.
Behind this renowned establishment lies a whole history, marked by a key date, the year 1921, which saw the birth of the first Banyuls cooperative cellar, thanks to the efforts of 11 winegrowers who decided to pool their productions to facilitate the marketing of their wines, with the desire for direct distribution to individuals.
