Banyuls 1986 Cave de l'Étoile – Old Vintage | 75cl

Born in 1986 in the cellars of Cave de l'Étoile, founded in 1921 in Banyuls-sur-Mer, this vintage Banyuls comes from an exceptional vineyard located in the far south of France, where the Pyrenees meet the Mediterranean. The vines, clinging to steep slopes on schist soil, are exclusively hand-worked. Since 1945, Cave de l'Étoile has offered a specific range of old vintages, true treasures of the Catalan terroir.

Color: Bright and clear, deep color with ruby highlights.
Nose: Still powerful, aromas of spices, dried fruits, and rancio.
Palate: Frank and balanced attack, rich tannins, subtle and elegant, lovely freshness for its age.
