700 years, winegrowers, distillers, coopers, breeders, and cellar masters have given Armagnac all its nobility.

From generation to generation, old Armagnacs are carefully kept in cellars, conditioned in demijohns (large glass bottles of 30 to 50 liters).

Marc Darroze, based on values of authenticity and excellence, wanted to sublimate some of these hidden treasures in these limited series called Luxe Gascon.
Luxury in Gascony is represented by the ability of producers and breeders to preserve Armagnacs for decades.
Finesse, authenticity, rarity, elegance are all words that characterize these Armagnacs conditioned in crystal decanters specially produced to sublimate these exceptional products.
Each lot is unique (only a few bottles), each decanter is numbered and accompanied
by a certificate authenticating the origin and respect of all the steps allowing to testify to this very particular luxury.

For over 20 years, Marc Darroze has dedicated a lot of energy and passion to Armagnac. Through contact with winegrowers, distillers, coopers, and Gascon breeders, Marc Darroze has been able to appreciate all the diversity and nobility of our profession.
In the family home, the aging of his Armagnacs has become more precise, refined, and his expertise is now complete.

A lover of his South-West and its age-old tradition, this cult chef of Landaise gastronomy initiated his son Francis to the culinary arts, great wines, and fine Gascon brandies. It is by cultivating this taste for tradition, for authenticity, that Francis Darroze, by traveling with his father, an informed and demanding oenophile, this famous terroir of Bas-Armagnac and by tasting treasures hidden deep in small estates, became a true scout of owner Armagnacs.
The first discoveries date from the 1950s & 60s, then intensified from the 1970s with the construction of a cellar specifically dedicated to aging.
His son Marc, an oenologist by training, followed in his footsteps in 1996. Both complementary, both "treasure hunters", as Martine Nouet called them in her book "Eaux-de-vie: le guide", they have traveled the lands of Armagnac all these years in search of this liquid gold that they offer you.
Treasure hunters first out of taste, but also to satisfy a loyal clientele looking for quality brandies, they were together discoverers of Armagnacs. Today, Marc Darroze alone oversees the company, Francis Darroze having taken a well-deserved active retirement. He continues the work of guardian, sometimes antique dealer, initiated by his father to make these treasures accessible to us.
