Maury 2003 Tasting – CAP Vintage
TASTING NOTES
100% Grenache Noir grape variety, which we selected for their gustatory quality, particularly for their aromatic originality (crushed and oxidized strawberry). A powerful attack with completely original notes of overripe strawberries, whereas this type of wine usually sticks to notes of dried fruits: a rarity. A very long finish on the rancio: magnificent!

The Coume du Roy estate is a family business. The estate's cellar is one of the oldest private cellars in the village of Maury.
Since the late 19th century, six generations of winemakers have succeeded one another, passing down their expertise over time, to build the history of the estate.
In 1998, Agnès and Jean-François Bachelet took over the family estate, which covers an area of 25 hectares. Concerned with preserving heritage and respectful of traditions, they cultivate the vines with care and passion. Their production focuses on Vins Doux Naturels (Maury and Muscat de Rivesaltes). They have also been able to develop other wines to complete their range with the same concern: to obtain quality wines.
The Maury Coume du Roy Blanc are mainly made from Grenache Noir, sometimes blended with Carignan and Syrah grape varieties.
Cap Vintage certifies the conformity, origin, and quality of this Maury.
